When we launched in April earlier this year, we had three price options:

  • Personal – 1 site and updates for one year
  • Business – 2 to 5 sites and updates for one year
  • Developer – Unlimited sites, updates for one year, and access to developer add-ons

These options have served us and our customers very well, but today it is time for a small change.

Over the last 7 months, we have had a lot of potential customers email us with questions like this:

I am not a developer but I want access to the additional add-on plugins, what should I do?

This kind of question stemmed from our use of the word “Developer” in the highest level license. The license is not and never was limited to customers that considered themselves developers, it was just the term we settled on at the time.

In order to help avoid this kind of confusion, we have renamed the license to “Professional”. Along with this, we have also renamed our “Business” license to just “Plus”.

None of the benefits of the licenses have changed, only the labels.

On top of the changes to the labels of the existing license options, today we are pleased to announce a new license level: Ultimate.

The new Ultimate price option is designed for those that want unlimited access to all official add-ons, unlimited site activations, and unlimited support and updates forever. If that is you, head on over to the Pricing page for more information.

If you have any questions or concerns about these changes, do not hesitate to ask.
