Is the manage addon screen just a quick way to manage plugins installed on WordPress or how does that work? Also, how does that work for multisite?
Hey Nick! The Addons screen is solely for managing AffiliateWP addons. If you have a Personal or Plus license you can download/install/activate any Official Free addon. If you have a Professional license you’ll also be able to download/install/activate Pro addons.
For multisite, sub-sites can have different addons active as you’d expect. Once an addon is installed and activated on sub-site A, the addon is then available on sub-site B (since they share the plugins). So if you then visited the Addons screen on sub-site B, you’ll see the addon is “Inactive” (vs Not Installed) because the plugin now exists.
Hope that helps!
Does this release fix the PHP 8 errors?
Hey Gavin,
This release didn’t fix anything PHP 8 related. We are aware of some notices/warnings with PHP 8 and these will be addressed in an upcoming release. Thanks!
