Hello.
I want to make my students affiliates. They are already registered in my wordpress as users. I want it to be done automatically. But, as they are already users, they have a registration error. The email and the user already exists.
How should I do it?
Fernando,
There are two ways to do this:
1. Instruct your students to log into their accounts and then register as an affiliate.
2. Inside of your WordPress admin, navigate to Affiliates > Tools > Migration Assistant and use the “User Accounts” tool to generate affiliate accounts for all registered users.
Thank you for the great post. Perfect timing: We are just about to launch some emails to customers promoting our affiliate program. I really like AffiliateWP because customers don’t have to create a separate login in a separate script. Something that might help us are example emails. Maybe a sample script of an email to customers promoting the affiliate program. The wording in those emails can really make or break the results. Please keep the helpful post coming!
Thanks for your feedback, Andrew 🙂 You are so right – wording makes a big difference. I’ve noted your suggestion!

“Consider giving your customers specific discount codes that are unique to them. When a customer refers a friend, they both get a dollar or percentage off discount on their next purchase.”
This is exactly what we want to achieve.
Is it possible with AffiliateWP?
I only see option for payout.
Thanks
We are looking to do a new wave of product recommendation through video reviews, and Affiliate WP’s collections would be a good fit.
