Recurring Referrals version 1.6 released!

Recurring Referrals, one of our most widely used Professional add-ons has just been updated to version 1.6. In this update, we’re pleased to introduce three new eCommerce integrations and several new features to help affiliate managers run a more flexible and inviting affiliate program.

Stripe subscriptions through WP Simple Pay

In AffiliateWP 2.0, we introduced support for referral tracking through the popular WP Simple Pay plugin. In Recurring Referrals 1.6, we have now also added support for tracking on-going referrals for subscriptions purchased through WP Simple Pay’s Subscriptions add-on.

Subscriptions through Gravity Forms

With Recurring Referrals version 1.6, site owners that sell subscriptions through any of the payment add-ons for Gravity Forms can now setup recurring referral tracking for those subscriptions so that affiliates get rewarded for every renewal payment processed.

Zippy Courses subscriptions

Zippy Courses is one of the premier LMS platforms available for WordPress.  This new version of Recurring Referrals now includes complete support for enabling on-going referral tracking for subscriptions purchased through Zippy Courses, giving your affiliates greater incentive to continually promote your courses.

Additional changes

Along with the three new integrations mentioned above, we’ve also introduced a few other improvements and bug fixes:

  • Recurring referral rates can now be configured as a flat or percentage rate
  • A new filter called “affwp_recurring_create_referral” has been added
  • A new filter called “affwp_insert_pending_recurring_referral” has been added
  • A bug that caused the incorrect referral rate to be used has been fixed

Recurring Referrals 1.6 is available today and the update can be installed directly from your Plugins page or can be downloaded manually from your account page. This update is available free of charge to all active Professional and Ultimate license holders. If your license has expired and you need to renew it, or you wish to upgrade from a Personal or Plus license, you may do so from your account page.

  1. I love how affiliateWP has evolved over the years, I’m seriously considering installing it on my EDD shop. I was wondering, does affiliateWP support 2checkout?

    Great work on the plugin, I thinking of going with a lifetime option, so even if I don’t use it right away, I’ll be able to when I’m ready.

    1. AffiliateWP is gateway-agnostic, so it works with all payment gateways that your eCommerce system (EDD in this case) supports.

  2. does there’s any way to type the refer id name on the gravity forms to promote forms without refer link & make the users able to type the name of the person who invite them to give him the commission direct through Affiiliatewp ?

      1. What about make this through gravity forms:
        Add a field for the form refer id (page number #1)
        The first page will redirect the visitor after type refer id to http://domain.com/?ref=userid
        this input using-dynamic-population then redirect the visitor
        This idea make us able to give affiliatewp the user id to give him the commission!

        If this possible please told me.

  3. Hi. My site works in multi-currency using the Aelia plugins and Woo Commerce. Will this affiliate product take the different rates into account? Obviously If it’s in £ and I charge £30 I don’t then want to pay the same amount if the sale was at $40 (£25) and it’s presented as £40….see what I mean? 🙂

        Diego does indeed have a WooCommerce ‘bridge’ that will allow you to integrate AffiliateWP and WooCommerce.

        Hugh, what you’ve got to understand is the {what’s the right word…?} “workflow” of how Diego’s plugin works.

        Everything first passes through the currency switcher, and then “flows out” from there. So, once you’ve got the currency switcher in, all your cache setup, rate’s sync-ing correctly, and prices setup, “THEN” Diego’s plugin will come in and allow the multi-currency to flow into Bundled Products https://aelia.co/shop/woocommerce-bundles-integration-currency-switcher/ , WooCommerce Subscriptions https://aelia.co/shop/subscriptions-integration-for-currency-switcher/ , & yes, even AffiliateWP as well 🙂
