Signup Referrals released!

We’re so excited to announce the launch a brand new addition to our growing collection of addons; Signup Referrals.

This addon allows you to award commission to your affiliates when they refer a new user who signs up for a WordPress user account on your site. Perfect for incentivized signups or lead tracking (which you can use to grow your affiliate network), Signup Referrals gives affiliates another reason to promote your website.

Signup Referrals generates a referral in AffiliateWP when any of these actions are triggered:

  1. The referred user registers as an affiliate
  2. A user registers for an account via Easy Digital Downloads
  3. A user registers for an account via WooCommerce
  4. A user registers for an account using Gravity Forms, and the User Registration addon
  5. A user registers for an account using Ultimate Member
  6. A user registers for an account using UserPro

Signup Referrals allows you to do the following:

  • Configure a referral amount for each Referral Type (Easy Digital Downloads, WooCommerce, etc.)
  • Set the status of the referral when it is created (Pending or Unpaid)
  • See from a new affiliate signup, which existing affiliate referred that new affiliate.

The Signup Referrals addon is available now for all Professional and Plus license holders. If you have a Personal or Plus license, you can easily upgrade with just a couple of clicks from your account page.

  1. Great news – I currently give a 2% reward for every referral an affiliate gives for the life of the new customer. Is there a way to give them a reward for signing up a new affiliate…and then a percentage of that affiliates new business?!

  4. I need a solution that provides recurring commissions from a referred customer. In other words, I want the affiliate to get a % of every purchase (subscriptions, downloads, products, et. al.) for the life of that customer. Does your product do this?

    1. You can award an affiliate commission whenever a customer renews their subscription payment with the Recurring Referrals add-on: https://affiliatewp.com/add-ons/pro/recurring-referrals/

  5. HI, I have been testing the affiliatewp, and I noticed that when a referred user sign-up, it doesn’t show the details of the user in the Affiliate Area > Referrals Tab. It only shows Amount | Description | Status | Date, is it possible to show the name and email address of the referred sign-up?

      Including those details is not currently supported but may be something we’re able to add in the future.
