Stripe
AffiliateWP tracks Stripe payments taken with WP Simple Pay, so every payment form you build with it records a commission for the affiliate who sent the customer.
Stripe Payments, Tracked Through WP Simple Pay
AffiliateWP tracks the Stripe payments WP Simple Pay takes on your site. When a customer who came through an affiliate’s link pays on one of its forms, AffiliateWP records a commission for that affiliate.
Each referral opens its payment or subscription in your Stripe dashboard, and you can pay the affiliate through Stripe from the same WordPress dashboard.
How It Works
Connect WP Simple Pay
Install WP Simple Pay Lite or Pro and connect it to your Stripe account.
Turn on WP Simple Pay
Check WP Simple Pay under AffiliateWP › Settings › Integrations.
Referred payments earn a commission
A customer who arrives through an affiliate’s link and pays on a form earns that affiliate a commission.
What You Can Set
AffiliateWP adds no settings to WP Simple Pay forms. These apply to every form.
Your usual referral rates
Every form uses your default rate, or the affiliate’s own rate when they have one.
No self-referrals
A payment made with the affiliate’s own email address doesn’t earn them a commission.
A link to Stripe
Each referral opens its payment or subscription in your Stripe dashboard, in test or live mode.
Subscription renewals Pro
With WP Simple Pay Pro and the Recurring Referrals addon, each renewal payment earns the affiliate a new commission.
What You Need
Plan
Every AffiliateWP plan. Commissions on subscription renewals need Pro.
Works with
A Stripe account, and WP Simple Pay Lite or Pro to take payments on your site.
Keep in mind
A refund in Stripe doesn’t reject the commission, so you’ll need to reject it yourself on the Referrals screen.
Set Up Stripe Tracking
The WP Simple Pay guide covers turning on the integration, setting up Stripe webhooks for WP Simple Pay Pro, and checking referrals.
