Why Are Certain Fields Non-Editable?

If you’re logged into your WordPress account, some fields on the affiliate registration form, such as email address, username, and password, are locked. This is because these fields are tied to your existing WordPress user credentials. AffiliateWP assumes you want to register the currently logged-in WordPress account as an affiliate, so it prevents changes to those fields.

How to Access the Full Registration Form

To see the full registration form with all fields editable:

  1. Log Out of your WordPress account.
  2. Visit the affiliate registration page again.
  3. The form will now allow you to input all required fields for a new affiliate account.

That’s it! The inability to edit certain fields on the affiliate registration form is by design, ensuring consistency between WordPress user accounts and affiliate accounts. If you need to register a different account, simply log out first.
