AffiliateWP includes a one-click migration tool that allows you to move all past referral and affiliate data from Affiliates Pro to AffiliateWP.
The migration tool can be found at AffiliateWP » Tools » Migration Assistant and looks like this:
Clicking Migrate Data from Affiliates Pro will begin the migration process.
Depending on the amount of affiliate data you have accumulated, the migration process can take a while. It will perform the migration in batches, doing 100 records at a time. You will see the page refresh after each step / batch is completed.
Notes:
- The migration process should only ever be performed on a brand new install of AffiliateWP
- Custom referral rates are migrated but other custom attributes are not
- AffiliateWP does support flat rate referral rates, but it will assume all affiliates from percentage based rates
It is very important that you ensure your Referral Variable settings are setup to match what you had in Affiliates Pro. If you had a referral var of affiliateid in Affiliates Pro, you should set Referral Variable to that same value in AffiliateWP to ensure existing affiliate URLs remain functional.
