The affiliate area is where your affiliates log into their account and view their referral stats, generate affiliate links, and view their earnings.
AffiliateWP will automatically create a page called Affiliate Area when it is first installed on the site, and it will also populate this page with the proper shortcode (if the block editor is not available), which is [affiliate_area]
.
If AffiliateWP did not automatically create the page, or you simply wish to name it something different, create a standard Page in WordPress and place the [affiliate_area]
shortcode in the main content.
Note: If your WordPress site supports the use of the block editor, it is recommended to go that route instead of using the shortcode. The Affiliate Area parent block contains both the Affiliate Registration and Affiliate Login nested blocks within. You can add password fields, rename fields, and remove fields easily from the Affiliate Registration block to customize your form. This article in our documentation can assist with that step How To Customize the Affiliate Registration form.
