AffiliateWP records a commission on the GiveWP donations your affiliates bring in, on the donation forms you choose, at a rate you can set for each form.
Reward Affiliates for the Donations They Bring In
Turn on Allow Referrals in a donation form’s AffiliateWP settings, and a donation made through an affiliate’s link records a pending referral for that affiliate. AffiliateWP marks it unpaid when the donation completes.
The referral names the form, and the donation option when the form has several, and GiveWP’s donation notes record it too.
How It Works
Turn on Give
Check Give under AffiliateWP › Settings › Integrations.
Allow referrals on a form
In the donation form’s settings, open AffiliateWP and turn on Allow Referrals.
Donations earn a commission
A donation made through an affiliate’s link records a referral for that affiliate.
What You Can Set
Choose which forms pay
Allow Referrals is set on each donation form, so only the forms you pick earn commissions.
A rate for each form
Give a form its own Affiliate Rate, or leave it blank to use your default rates.
Refunds follow the donation
Refund or delete a donation, and AffiliateWP rejects its commission while Reject Unpaid Referrals on Refund is on.
No self-referrals
A donation made with the affiliate’s own email address doesn’t earn them a commission.

Every AffiliateWP plan.
Works with
GiveWP on the same WordPress site as AffiliateWP. The form settings work in GiveWP’s visual form builder and in older forms.
Keep in mind
Only the first donation earns a commission. The Recurring Referrals addon doesn’t support GiveWP, so renewals of a recurring donation don’t.

Frequently Asked Questions
Check that Allow Referrals is on in that form’s AffiliateWP settings. It’s off on every form until you turn it on, and the Give integration has to be checked under AffiliateWP › Settings › Integrations.
The affiliate’s. When an affiliate has their own rate, it overrides the Affiliate Rate set on the form. See the referral rate hierarchy.
On the Referrals screen, where the reference links to the donation in GiveWP. The donation’s notes in GiveWP name the referral and the affiliate too.
