Sprout Invoices
AffiliateWP records a commission when a client your affiliate referred pays a Sprout Invoices invoice, and notes the referral on the payment.
Commissions on the Clients Your Affiliates Refer
When a client who arrived through an affiliate’s link pays an invoice, AffiliateWP records a pending referral on that payment. It marks the referral unpaid once Sprout Invoices completes the payment, and adds a note about it to the payment record.
Each payment is its own referral, so an invoice paid in parts records a commission for each part the client pays through the affiliate’s link.
How It Works
Turn on Sprout Invoices
Check Sprout Invoices under AffiliateWP › Settings › Integrations.
An affiliate refers a client
The client arrives through the affiliate’s link, and AffiliateWP records the visit.
The client pays an invoice
AffiliateWP records a commission on the payment, at your default rate or the affiliate’s own.
What You Can Set
AffiliateWP adds no settings to Sprout Invoices. Your commission settings apply.
A link to the invoice
Each referral shows the invoice’s title, and opens the invoice for editing.
Voided payments
Void a payment in Sprout Invoices, and AffiliateWP rejects its commission while Reject Unpaid Referrals on Refund is on.

Keep in mind
The client has to pay in the same browser they used to follow the affiliate’s link. A payment made on another device isn’t credited.

AffiliateWP doesn’t credit that payment. You can add the referral yourself on the Referrals screen, and choose the affiliate and the amount.
